SAFEWAY SETS SEATTLE SITES

PLEASANTON, Calif. -- Safeway here reportedly will join with a Seattle-area developer to build two replacement stores on the lower level of new apartment complexes, with Safeway sharing in the cost of the projects and subsequently owning the markets and parking areas.
