SCHULTZ SAV-O: EARNINGS, SALES INCREASED IN 1998

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. -- Schultz Sav-O Stores here said new store openings and the expansion of two franchise stores helped increase sales and earnings for its retail and wholesale operations for the year ended Jan. 2. Annual sales and fourth-quarter earnings rose while sales for the 12-week quarter declined, the company said.
