"We are always looking for new and innovative ways to improve our customers' shopping experience," said Bill Crombie, vice president, corporate merchandising and advertising, Wakefern. "Our shoppers have told us that they 'love the screens' because they provide news, weather and product information while checking out of the store."

The programming mix will include segments from PRN partners like Food Network, Discovery Health, Oxygen Network and InStyle magazine, among others. In addition, the screens will broadcast updated news, sports headlines and weather according to the ZIP code of individual stores.
