SAN FRANCISCO -- Attendees of Food Marketing Institute's 2005 Distribution Conference, held here March 13 to 16 at the Omni Hotel, learned about radio frequency identification (RFID), data synchronization, industry collaboration, transportation, HR and other topics. Speakers included executives from Supervalu, Hannaford Bros., Meijer, Hy-Vee, Wegmans and Ahold. Before escaping to Alcratraz or hopping on a trolley, attendees took in the cocktail reception.
