SIX PARTNERS JOIN TO PLUG 'TOY STORY'

BURBANK, Calif. -- Six promotional partners will join with Walt Disney Home Video to provide over $145 million in marketing spending for the Oct. 29 release of "Toy Story." General Mills, Ocean Spray, Kodak, Energizer, Oral B and Burger King will be involved in the campaign, which Disney says is the biggest single video promotional effort ever. BURBANK, Calif. -- Six promotional partners will join with Walt Disney Home Video to provide over $145 million in marketing spending for the Oct. 29 release of "Toy Story." General Mills, Ocean Spray, Kodak, Energizer, Oral B and Burger King will be involved in the campaign, which Disney says is the biggest single video promotional effort ever. "Toy Story" will carry a suggested retail price of $26.99 and will prebook on Sept. 17. It grossed over $180 million at the box office. General Mills will offer a $5 mail-in refund with the purchase of any two General Mills Big G cereals 7 ounces or larger, and any one Betty Crocker Dessert, Bisquick, Gold Medal Flour or Betty Crocker Potato Buds, along with "Toy Story" and another eligible Disney video. In the Ocean Spray offer, consumers buying the movie or another eligible Disney video, plus two Ocean Spray products, can receive a free set of two "Toy Story" themed cups. Kodak will offer an instantly redeemable coupon for a $5 refund with the purchase of "Toy Story" or an eligible Disney video plus a 3+1 bonus pack of Kodak film. Those who buy a two-pack of film along with a video are eligible for a $3 instant coupon.

From Energizer, consumers can get a $5 mail-in refund with the purchase of four packages of batteries and "Toy Story" or an eligible video. Burger King will participate with an eight-week in-store campaign, using "Toy Story" premiums in its Kids Club Meals and other offers.
