QUINCY, Mass. -- Stop & Shop Cos. here said it is partnering with a variety of manufacturers to support local drug education and prevention efforts in Massachusetts. The initiative, called "Shop to Stop Drugs," encourages consumers to add $1 to their bill at the checkout to fund the efforts. Additional funds are being donated by 35 manufacturers, whose contributions will be based on sales of their products during the month of August.
