ST. LOUIS -- Fans of the the popular public television series "Breaking Bread With Father Dominic" got a chance to meet the holy host at two local supermarkets here this past week, and watched him create some of his famous sweet breads right before their eyes.
ed cut-out of Father Dominic promoting his appearance and also posted an announcement on their company Web site. Dierbergs used a direct-mail ad informing local consumers of the demonstration and hung large posters in all their area stores detailing the event.
Though both events were free, the afternoon's second program, held at Dierbergs, required those in attendance to pick up advance tickets in order to maintain a safe size for in-store the crowd.
