MINNEAPOLIS -- SuperTarget is boosting its private-label food program to include around 2,900 different stockkeeping units by year-end, Gregg Steinhafel, president of Target Stores here, said in an earnings conference call last week.
g and graphics to its premium Archer Farms line of private-label foods and will expand the line by the end of the year to around 1,900 products, he said.
Earlier this year, Target introduced new graphics and packaging to its Market Pantry line of opening-price-point products. That line will double in size by year-end to around 1,000 SKUs, Steinhafel said.
He also said the company plans to roll out wine offerings to about 200 Target and SuperTarget stores by next year, vs. 80 stores today.
