Mack said the union's objections involve the alleged coercion, although he also said the Teamsters do not like the proposed initiative, which would severely limit or eliminate worker choices. He said the Teamsters are part of a group of business, labor and state officials who are working on a legislative solution to reduce workers' compensation costs in California that would offer a variety of options without eliminating choice.
