The promotional prices on the products ranged from $1.99 for a .14 ounce stick of Hawaiian Tropic Lip Balm with SPF 15 level sunscreen, to $6.49 for Coppertone Kids Sunblock Lotion of SPF level 15 or 30. Other manufacturers featured were Bain de Soleil and Vaseline Intensive Care.
The ad, which ran for one week in late spring, also featured the message "Don't get burned by high prices on sun care products . . . stock up this week at Tom Thumb!"
