BOISE, Idaho -- Albertson's here has come up with a new treat designed to please both customers and Halloween trick-or-treaters -- a booklet with coupons for free doughnuts from the in-store bakery and discounts on other products in the store.

At an Albertson's unit on North Central Expressway in Dallas, handouts promoting the coupon booklets were stacked on a table just inside the entrance. The coupon booklets could be purchased at checkout stands and at the courtesy desk.
