BOISE, Idaho -- Albertson's here said it has established a trust fund, in cooperation with the United Way of Southern Nevada, to assist the families of four employees who were shot and killed at one of the chain's stores in Las Vegas June 3.

A fifth employee was wounded -- Zachary Emenegger, a 21-year-old night-crew clerk with four years' experience working for Albertson's.
According to Albertson's, United Way of Southern Nevada contributed the first $1,000; that donation was matched by Nevada State Bank, where the fund has been established, the company said.
According to local reports, a suspect identified by police as a 23-year-old former Marine entered the store armed with a pump-action shotgun and wearing camouflage and opened fire, killing the four employees and wounding the fifth.
