SPRINGDALE, Ark. -- Tyson Foods here has appointed Sue Quillin to the position of vice president of retail consumer marketing after six years as a product manager and director of retail fresh marketing. Quillin, who earned a marketing degree from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse, reports to Elmer Vazquez, vice president of sales and marketing of Tyson's Retail Group. Quillin will manage a new $1.4 billion-department derived from the newly merged fresh-products and further-process products divisions. In related duties, she is also the current Tyson representative on the National Chicken Council's Marketing Committee.
