Earlier this month, United, for the second quarter ended Jan. 31, posted net income of $9.24 million on sales of $504.71 million, increases of 31.3% and 28.3%, respectively. The company said increased fuel costs and its acquisition of Select Nutrition Distributors had a negative impact on earnings.
