ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- The United Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Association here has named Sarah Delea director of public affairs.

Delea is responsible for the association's media and public relations programs and reports to Tom Stenzel, United's president.
Most recently Delea had been communications manager for the International Food Information Council, Washington, where she was responsible for implementing national and regional media campaigns on food safety and health issues.
