WASHINGTON -- The United Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Association's Research and Education Foundation and the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Marketing Service will team up to host four new produce inspection training programs, designed for produce receivers, handlers, buyers, shippers and sellers who want to learn more about USDA inspection procedures, policies and standards.

To be held in 2005, the classes are taught by expert USDA inspectors and held at the USDA Fresh Products Branch National Inspectors' Training and Development Center in Fredericksburg, Va.
