TROY, Mich. -- Kmart Corp. here said last week that Andrew A. Giancamilli has been named president and general merchandise manager of U.S. Kmart.
BR> Giancamilli will report to Floyd Hall, Kmart chairman, president and chief executive officer. Giancamilli was senior vice president and general merchandise manager, overseeing $12 billion of business in home fashions, home decor, housewares, electronics, jewelry, cosmetics, consumables and "Pantry" food operations featured in the company's Big Kmart format stores.
He joined Kmart in March 1995 from Perry Drug Stores, where he was president and chief operating officer.
