LAS VEGAS -- About 100 supermarket retailers, distributors and other video executives rose early to attend SN's 5th annual VSDA breakfast for supermarket retailers. During the breakfast, also sponsored by Warner Home Video and the Video Software Dealers Association, SN honored this year's top 10 All-Star winners for exemplary sales and merchandising of home entertainment products. In addition, Warner gave a presentation on the state of the industry and the studio's future direction in retail. Total attendance at this year's VSDA Convention dropped 2.5% to 10,995, due to attendance being off for the adult entertainment expo.
