ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- In a letter mailed to around 3,000 suppliers last month, Wegmans Food Markets here stipulated a series of deadlines it expects these companies to meet in order to engage in data synchronization with Wegmans.

"Failure to comply with the above guidelines will significantly affect your business with Wegmans," the letter said.
Marianne Timmons, director of B2B for Wegmans, told SN this was the third letter sent to suppliers urging UCCnet compliance. The chain is synchronizing data with about 80 suppliers currently, she said.
