However, ongoing problems at its SuperPetz subsidiary resulted in an overall earnings decline for both periods. les increased 1.6%. Excluding SuperPetz results, the company said net income rose 4.5% for the quarter and 5.2% for the half, while sales increased 2.9% for the quarter and 3.6% for the half.
