OAKLAND, Calif. -- The Western States Meat Association here has named new officers and a new board of directors for the 1994-1995 season.
lma, Calif. John Duyn, chief executive officer of Carlton Packing Co., Carlton, Ore., has been named president, succeeding Spiritas. Harvey Dietrich, president of Sun Land Beef Co., Tolleson, Ariz., has been named vice president, succeeding Duyn. And Joe Azzaro, vice president, general manager of Goldberg & Solovy, Vernon, Calif., has been reappointed treasurer.
Rosemary Mucklow was reappointed executive director of the association.
Newly elected members of the board include Larry Klein, Ferry Bros.; David Langston, Del Monte Meat Co.; Tom DeMott, Safeway Stores; Barbara Philips, Sun Land Beef Co.; Bill Bernhard, Denver Boneless Meat; Jeri Gustafson, Mapelli Bros., and Franny Florence, Independent Meat Co..
