ATLANTA -- TV Depot, a company here that distributes TV-marketed products, finished setting 80 Winn-Dixie division stores here last week with displays of "as seen on TV" product, according to Mark Epstein, co-founder.

"TV products, whether launched in long or short form, are having an increasingly difficult time succeeding without a powerful retail distribution component," said Dan Roth, executive vice president and chief strategic officer of Western International Media Corp. "Our partners have devised a system that offers permanent in-store real estate at national chains fueled by national TV exposure," he said.

TV Depot is a limited liability company founded by Mark Epstein, Tom Painter and William Todd, who will continue to manage the program.

"The purpose of the program is to provide a store within a store for retailers who don't have expertise in television direct response," said Epstein. "A good infomercial product doesn't always make a good retail product. Our job is to use our 13 years of experience to find infomercial products that will sell in-store," said Epstein.

Western Direct Marketing Group actively pursues unique products, in a range of categories, to promote via direct response television, using both infomercials and short-form commercials.

Western Direct funds, manages and implements complete global marketing campaigns for direct-response TV products from production to retail distribution.

Western International Media Corp. is a buyer of various local and national media time and space, including broadcast, print, radio and direct mail.
