JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Winn-Dixie Stores here and Kellogg Co., Battle Creek, Mich., teamed to award three computer systems as prizes for the supermarket chain's "Cool Food for Kids" frozen-food promotion.
ystem was awarded to an educational council, a community-service organization and a Winn-Dixie frozen-food consumer. The system includes Microsoft Creative Writer 2, Microsoft Encarta Encyclopedia and Microsoft Bookshelf software.
The goal of "Cool Food for Kids," an October promotion that is run at supermarkets nationwide, is to educate children about the nutritional value, economic benefits and convenience of frozen foods.
