In a consolidating industry filled with giant retail companies, it's too easy to forget the power of the individual.
at their companies either by saving substantial dollars, instituting a better company policy or creating new revenue streams.
SN chose five food retailing associates for their contributions based upon recommendations from top-level company executives and industry associations. These individuals' positions and areas of responsibility vary. They include a chief operating officer, a vice president of insurance administration, a regional bakery specialist, a district manager and a store director. Each has come up with successful recommendations or made efforts that positively impact the bottom line and enhance the company's performance.
While each of these people have their own management philosophy and style, the one thing they all have in common is many years of experience in food retailing. Most have spent their entire careers with one company. They are all dedicated to hard work and spend long hours in getting the job done.
