Jul 10, 2007 8:00 AM
AUSTIN, Texas — Whole Foods Market’s Pacific Northwest stores are serving as the exclusive distributors of the First Blush line of juices made from cabernet, merlot, zinfandel and chardonnay grapes. The 100% natural varietal juices that are free of preservatives, alcohol, caffeine and added sugar are the first of their kind, according to First Blush. “It’s our goal to satisfy and delight our customers, and that includes offering countless new, delicious foodie finds,” said Ron Megahan, Whole Foods Market Pacific Northwest regional president, in a statement. “We’re proud that our stores will be the first to offer First Blush juices.” Additional varietals will be introduced next year. First Blush will donate 5 cents of every bottle sold to the World Health Organization.
