If California voters approve Prop 37, the ballot initiative to require labels on genetically modified foods, how will it impact retailers, suppliers and food prices?

Now that we know the results of the prop 37 in CA, it is clear that 9 million people learned about what is GMO and 47% of them or over 4.3 million people want to know what is in the food they eat. I think companies should view this as a market survey on a large scale and take advantage of it. People want to have more choices. People want to know what is in their food. If I were a CEO of a Food company I would tap into this market just like I would tap into the organic market. These are high margin markets and my company could benefit from it.
