Mark joined SN in 2001 as the editor of the Nonfoods section, and he became the editor of the Retail/Financial section in 2002. Prior to joining SN, he had covered the restaurant industry, the drug store industry and the direct marketing industry for other weekly B2B magazines, and — what seems like a long, long time ago — he covered high school and college sports for a small daily newspaper in Colorado.
