HARRISBURG, Pa. — The National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association is gearing up for its October Frozen Food Festival. The event will be announced in a freestanding insert delivered to 15 million homes on Sept. 30. The FSI will feature 25 participating brands, including Birds Eye, Green Giant and Healthy Choice. It also will promote a $7,500 "Fresh Ideas in Frozens" sweepstakes on the easyhomemeals.com website. The sweepstakes is designed to increase consumer involvement with participating brands and retailers. In other news, the NFRA's annual convention will be held Oct. 13-16 in San Antonio.
