A&P has assured dog lovers that its private label pet treats are safe for consumption. In Facebook posts and on shelf tags, the retailer confirms that its Preferred Pet Chicken Jerky is made in the USA. The notifications come in response to reports concerning jerky pet treat-related deaths and illnesses.
