Safeway Goes Back to School

PLEASANTON, Calif. — Safeway here is running a back-to-school promotion and donating 10% of select purchases to local schools. Shoppers who purchase participating products with their loyalty card through Sept. 4 will get 10% of the purchase price donated to the school of their choice. Participating products are identified with yellow school bus tags throughout the store. The promotion kicked off this week.
