Annie’s Naturals Issues Vinaigrette Recall
Feb 13, 2008 6:00 AM
NAPA, Calif. — Annie’s Naturals has voluntarily recalled 686 cases of 8-ounce bottles of its all-natural Shitake & Sesame Vinaigrette because the product could be mislabeled and may contain soy sauce (which contains wheat and soy) and sesame that weren’t declared on the ingredient statement. Although people with allergies or sensitivity to these ingredients run the risk of severe allergic reaction if they consume these products, there have been no illnesses or injuries reported to date, according to Annie’s. Only dressings with the UPC# 0-92325-33319-2 with a best by date of 02/20/09/1/E and 02/20/09/2/E are affected.
