CINCINNATI — Packages of Dunkin’ Donuts original and flavored coffee will begin occupying supermarket shelf space later on this month, Procter & Gamble announced yesterday. As part of its licensing agreement with the world’s largest coffee and baked goods chain, P&G will also provide Dunkin’ Donuts’ Original Blend, French Vanilla, Dunkin’ Decaf, Hazelnut and Cinnamon Spice coffee to select mass merchandisers, club stores and drug stores nationwide. The deal is part of Dunkin’ Donuts’ efforts to reach new markets and strengthen the loyalty of its existing customer base. “We’re thrilled to be working with Procter & Gamble to introduce new consumers across the country to our great-tasting coffee and we’re pleased with our initial response from retailers,” said Robert Rodriguez, president of Dunkin’ Donuts Brands, in a statement.
