SAN ANTONIO — H.E. Butt Grocery Co.’s Central Market stores will run kids cooking camps this summer. “Learn to shop, chop and cook some familiar favorites and explore some new options in these hands-on classes,” Central Market promotional materials read. Available for kids ranging in age from 5 to 17, the classes will run here and in Austin, Houston, Dallas, Plano and Fort Worth. Classes cover a range of topics, from French to Italian cooking, to one-dish meals, breakfast and chocolate. They vary in length and price, depending on the location. A three-hour class in Austin costs $39, while a two-hour class in Forth Worth runs $40 for 5 to 12 year olds.
