Chenango Valley Pet Foods Expands Recall

SHERBURNE, N.Y. — Chenango Valley Pet Foods here, which previously recalled pet foods manufactured with rice protein concentrate, has expanded its recall to include foods manufactured during periods when rice protein concentrate formulas were processed. The recall is a precautionary measure because of the possibility of cross-contamination. It includes certain varieties of ShopRite Redi-Mixt Dog Food, Doctors Foster & Smith Lamb & Brown Rice Formula Adult Dog Food, Lick Your Chops Kitten & Cat Food and Evolve Kitten Formula, among others. No illnesses or injuries related to these products have been reported to date, according to Chenango Valley.
