The Internet has moved to the top spot among holiday shopping destinations for the first time in the 15 years that it has been a part of Deloitte’s annual holiday survey. The 2013 survey of more than 5,000 consumers found that 47% planned to shop online this year, bumping discount/value department stores from the No. 1 position.
