ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Pictures and travel notes from Wegmans Food Markets’ recent visit to Israel are featured in the chain’s 2008 Passover Celebration Guide. Attendees were Eric Friedland, store manager of a Wegmans store in New Jersey; Ellen Campbell, category merchant for kosher and specialty deli; Jeff Lunney, executive chef; and Heath Gebell, Wegmans brand team member. The Rabbinical Administrator for Rochester’s Kosher Services reviewed the publication for cultural sensitivity and accuracy. The 34-page guide is available in about half of Wegmans’ stores, wherever the retailer determined there was a need.
