Bristol Farms, Carson, Calif., said Monday it has promoted Adam Caldecott to EVP, retail, a new position designed to provide more opportunity for coordinated marketing, merchandising and operational effectiveness, the company said.Bristol Farms EVP Adam Caldecott

Caldecott was previously SVP, marketing and merchandising, for both Bristol Farms and Lazy Acres. The company said it plans to disclose the name of his successor in that post later in the week.

The company operates 12 Bristol Farms stores, which offer fresh, specialty foods, and two Lazy Acres locations, which focus on natural and organic foods.

In his new post Caldecott will assume store operations responsibilities for the Bristol Farms banner while retaining responsibility for all facets of marketing and merchandising.

“With the economy continuing to improve and people spending again, we’re well positioned to take the company to a new level," Caldecott said.

He has been with Bristol Farms for 17 years, working his way through various levels of store operations and marketing.
