Natural Markets Food Group, parent of the Mrs. Green's chain, has named John Boyle as its new chief merchandising officer, SN has learned.
Boyle joins the Irvington, N.Y.-based retailer from New Seasons Market, Portland, Ore., where he was the director of merchandising and buying. Natural Markets CEO Pat Brown is also a veteran of New Seasons.
Boyle from 2007 to 2013 served as SVP of sales and marketing for Haggen Inc. Prior to that, Boyle held merchandising VP roles at Supervalu and Albertsons.
Boyle succeeds Tim Milano, who joined NMFG a little over a year ago from FreshDirect. Milano has left the company, a spokesman said.
