ARLINGTON, Va. — National Grocers Association here said Tuesday it has named Brian P. Lynch vice president of industry relations, effective June 3.
He will be responsible for NGA's efforts related to collaboration with associate members, coalitions, third-party partnerships, and trading partners. He will also have primary responsibility for managing the NGA Trading Partner Advisory Council.
Lynch most recently was with Grocery Manufacturers Association, Washington, where he was senior director, business and industry development.
"I am very happy to welcome Brian to our team," said Peter J. Larkin, president and chief executive officer, NGA, in a statement. "He has a proven track record of success both in the food industry and in cultivating member relationships. NGA is excited to complement our ongoing strategic initiatives with his expertise."
Lynch said he “looks forward to taking proactive industry engagement and collaboration to the next level" at NGA.
