Price Chopper Supermarkets has a new vice president of meat merchandising in Jason Resner.
In his new role, Resner will oversee the meat departments at 132 stores by handling business management and planning, negotiations with suppliers, promotional planning and growth strategies.
Resner, a 20-year industry veteran, most recently served as corporate director of meat and produce at Supervalu in Minnesota. He also previously worked for Jewel-Osco in the Chicago area.
