Weis Markets has promoted Jack O’Hara to senior vice president of legal affairs and real estate.
O’Hara will be responsible for the strategic leadership and oversight of the day-to-day operations of the company’s real estate and legal teams. He will report to Jonathan Weis, company chairman, president and CEO.
O’Hara first joined the retailer as real estate manager in 2006 and was later promoted to director of real estate. In 2012, he was promoted to vice president of legal affairs and real estate, the position he held prior to his promotion.
Earlier in his career, O’Hara worked in real estate and development positions for Citi Trends, Variety Wholesalers, and Woolworth Corporation.
Founded in 1912, Weis Markets, Inc. is a Mid Atlantic food retailer operating 196 stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, West Virginia, and Virginia.
