ST. LOUIS — Chamberlain Farms added watermelons to the list of recalled produce due to possible salmonella contamination, according to a release from Schnucks Markets here. The Owensville, Ind.-based supplier, which the FDA named as the source of a cantaloupe-linked salmonella outbreak that killed two and sickened 204 last month, warned that watermelons from this past growing season could have been contaminated with Salmonella newport.
