Garden-Fresh Foods Expands Recall for Fifth Time

WASHINGTON — Garden-Fresh Foods, Inc. has recalled additional batches of fresh cut vegetables, ready-to-eat salads, slaws, dips and spreads due to possible contamination with listeria monocytogenes.

This is the fifth such announcement since the company’s initial recall of potato salad in early September. No illnesses have been reported in association with these products.

The current recall involves private-label items from Marsh Supermarkets, Martin’s Super Markets, Roundy’s, Spartan Stores and Weis Markets, as well as other brands. Previous recalls also involved products from Target’s Archer Farms.
