Safeway Prostate Cancer Fund Raising Includes Music Promotion

Safeway said this week it will again partner with emerging musical artist Jeff Austin Black to raise money for prostate cancer research.

PLEASANTON, Calif. — Safeway said this week it will again partner with emerging musical artist Jeff Austin Black to raise money for prostate cancer research. As part of the company's commitment to raise $6.5 million this month for the fight against prostate cancer, a special CD with three songs from Black's upcoming album "Human" will be available in Safeway stores nationwide. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Prostate Cancer Foundation, Santa Monica, Calif.
