The 2013 honorees are Amber Badeau, ShopRite of Olney; Alyson Dykstra, Homeland Stores; Meredith Mensinger, Redner's Markets; Marilyn Mills, Hannaford Supermarket; and Allison Stowell, Hannaford Supermarket.

PBH also honored five of its Ambassadors, representatives from suppliers and other companies involved in the produce industry who advance the foundation’s mission.

"The support PBH received throughout 2013 from our Ambassadors and from our supermarket dietitians has been quite impressive and truly outstanding,” Elizabeth Pivonka, president and CEO of PBH, said in a statement. "I am therefore pleased to announce our first ever group of Ambassador Excellence Award Honorees and Supermarket Dietitians of the Year. Together we continue to convey a clear and consistent message that including a variety of fruits and vegetables, at every eating occasion, is an essential component of creating a healthier America."
