H-E-B Launches Health Challenge
SAN ANTONIO -- H.E. Butt Grocery Co. has announced the “H-E-B goodness!” challenge, a contest geared toward helping three San Antonio-area families live healthier lives in 2007. Through a partnership with local health care provider Baptist Health System and the San Antonio Express-News, winners of a 75-word essay contest describing why their family deserves a “goodness makeover” will be awarded a three-month membership to Baptist HealthLink fitness center, $100 per week in H-E-B gift cards, cooking lessons from an H-E-B nutritionist, supplement advice from the Texas chain‘s director of healthy living, nutritional counseling and a tailored activity program developed by H-E-B pharmacists, and free physicals, health screenings and monthly visits throughout the challenge from the Baptist Health System. The families' experiences will be chronicled in the Express-News, as well as on websites hosted by H-E-B and the Baptist Health System.Subscribe / Renew to Supermarket News
