KANSAS CITY, Mo. — MedBasics, an operator of retail health clinics based in Irving, Texas, said yesterday it entered into a partnership with McKeever Enterprises here to open up to seven clinics in the organization’s Kansas City-area Price Chopper stores. With the first of these slated to open this fall, the new MedBasics clinic locations would grow MedBasics’ Kansas City presence from 17 to more than 20, as the company is already contracted to operate in 15 Price Chopper and Ball’s Hen House stores. “Based on the performance we’ve seen, having a MedBasics clinic in our stores will allow us to more widely appeal to and meet our customers' needs,” said Alan McKeever, president of McKeever Enterprises.
