Description: Since 1960, the US egg industry has reduced greenhouse gas emissions over 71%. That’s equivalent to taking 5.2 million cars off the road for a year. Advancements in egg production have also reduced the amount of water needed to produce a dozen eggs by 32%. That’s enough to fill 3,716 Olympic-sized swimming pools. It’s all part of the Good Egg Project.
