CINCINNATI — Users of Kroger Co.’s prepaid debit cards will no longer be charged a fee at ATMs that offer the MoneyPass Network, which consists of over 23,000 ATM locations nationwide.
The surcharge-free MoneyPass ATM transactions are an extension of U.S. Bank’s financial services relationship with Kroger. In 2010, U.S. Bank and Kroger formed a strategic alliance that offered Kroger customers and associates a suite of payment products and financial services, including reloadable prepaid debit products that offer rewards with every purchase and can be used to shop and pay bills online.

“Kroger is focused on providing money management solutions that enable our customers to make smart choices with their money,” said Kathleen Kelly, president of Kroger Personal Finance, a division of Kroger, in a statement. “The MoneyPass Network together with the Kroger prepaid debit card will provide customers with access to over 23,000 ATMs surcharge free. We are delighted to be able to help customers save a little of their hard earned dollars.”
