CAMP HILL, Pa. — Five co-branded Save-A-Lot and Rite Aid stores opened Monday in Greenville, S.C., according to Rite Aid here.
The stores are among 10 such co-branded stores planned for the Greenville market, which the retailers are calling a test. The first such location opened late last month in Easley, S.C.
“The response by customers to our new co-branded store in Easley has been great, and we’re excited that we’re now able to expand the concept to five more locations,” Ken Martindale, chief operating officer of Rite-Aid, said in a statement.
Save-A-Lot is the discount arm of Supervalu, Minneapolis.
